Trident Hilton Jaipur

Being right across from Jal Mahal on Amber Fort Road is something we don't take for granted. Every day when I walk into Trident Hilton Jaipur, I look over at the water and the old palace sitting there. It’s a view that never really gets old, even when it’s 40 degrees outside in the middle of summer. Our place is built with a lot of local stone and has those wide hallways that stay a bit cooler than the street. We’re in the 302002 zip code, which is a part of town that sees a lot of visitors heading up towards the fort. We spend a lot of our time making sure the gardens look decent and the pool is clear. It’s a lot of manual labor, honestly. We aren't sitting around in fancy suits all day; we’re mostly moving luggage or checking on the kitchen. The kitchen can get pretty loud during the dinner rush, with the chefs shouting orders and the smell of spices everywhere. We try to keep things simple for the guests. If they need an extra towel or directions to the market, we just handle it. We don’t have a big handbook on how to be special. We just treat people like they’re visiting our own home, even if our home happens to have a couple hundred rooms. It’s just how we do things here in Jaipur, day in and day out.
