Tomato Palace

We’ve been here on Sansar Chandra Road for a good while now. It is easy to find us if you go behind City Centre. Our spot is usually a bit noisy because of the main road traffic, but we don't mind it much. Most days, we just keep our heads down and focus on getting the food right for whoever walks in. It isn't a fancy place with velvet chairs or anything like that. We have basic tables and a kitchen that stays busy from morning till we close up. My cousin helps me with the supplies, and we try to get the freshest tomatoes and vegetables every single day from the local market. Sometimes the electricity acts up, or the delivery bike gets a flat tire, but that is just part of running a business in Jaipur. We see a lot of office workers during lunch and then families later in the evening. It gets crowded on weekends, so it might take a few extra minutes to get your plate. We just like cooking and seeing people eat. There are no big secrets here, just a lot of chopping and stirring pots. We appreciate the regulars who have been coming since we first opened the doors. If you are passing by the Main Road and feel hungry, you can just step in and find a seat. It's just us doing what we know how to do. Sometimes the fans are a bit slow but we stay cool enough.
