The Rajwada

The Rajwada is located out in Kukas, right on the Delhi Jaipur Highway. If you are driving toward Jaipur, you will find us sitting near Hotel Shiv Palace. It is a dusty stretch of road, but there is always something happening outside. We get a lot of travelers who are tired from the long drive between Delhi and Jaipur and just want a place to stop for a bit. The sun gets really hot out here in Rajasthan, so we try to keep the place as cool as we can for anyone coming in. It is not a very complicated business. We have our staff who have been with us for a long time, and we all just do our daily jobs. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we run out of something in the kitchen, but we just fix it and move on with the day. We do not have any fancy brochures or big marketing plans. Most people just see our sign from the road and pull over. The parking lot gets full of cars and sometimes big buses too. It is a big space but it feels smaller when it is full of people talking and eating. We spend our mornings getting the place ready and our nights making sure everything is shut down properly. It is a simple life out here on the highway, away from the main city area of Jaipur. We just provide a spot for people to take a break.
