Tamra Marriage Garden

Tamra Marriage Garden is located on Tonk Road in the Durga Pura area. It is pretty easy to find because the BSNL office is right nearby. This place has seen a lot of weddings and family gatherings over the years. We have a good amount of open space which is nice when the weather in Jaipur is actually decent. It is not one of those five-star hotels, just a practical garden where families can get together. Most of the time, we are busy cleaning up from one event or setting up for the next one. The grass needs a lot of water because of the heat here. We have some basic rooms for the families to stay in while the function is going on. Tonk Road is always loud with cars and buses, but once you get inside the gates, it feels a bit quieter. We have local guys who help with the tents and the lights. It is a lot of work when a big party is happening, especially during the peak wedding season when nobody gets much sleep. We try to keep the lights working and the gates open for the delivery trucks. It is just a regular spot for people in this part of town to hold their functions without spending too much. Nothing fancy, just a big space with some trees and a lot of history with the local families around Durga Pura. We stay busy year after year.
