Tadka Handi

Tadka Handi is our little place on Plot No -10 in Arpit Nagar Scheme. We are right on Gandhi Path in the Vaishali Nagar area of Jaipur. It’s a pretty easy spot to find if you are driving around this side of town. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a bit. We use the traditional handi for some of our cooking because that is just how we learned to do it. It isn't a massive restaurant, just a comfortable size for us to manage. We handle everything ourselves, from buying the ingredients in the morning to cleaning up at night. There are no fancy uniforms or big speeches here. We just serve food to the people who live nearby or those passing through Vaishali Nagar. The road outside can get a bit noisy, but once you’re inside, it’s just about the meal. We don't spend money on big posters or radio ads. Word of mouth usually brings people in. Sometimes we are understaffed if someone calls in sick, but we manage to get the plates out eventually. It's a humble business and we just like being part of the local community here in Jaipur. We stay open until the last order is done and then get ready to do it all again tomorrow. Most of our day is spent in the kitchen making sure the handis are ready.
