Suchitra Palace Inc.

Suchitra Palace Inc. is out in the Sitapura Industrial Area at J-429, just off Tonk Road. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, so the mornings usually start with everyone arriving at different times depending on how bad the traffic was. The building is a large, grey structure with a heavy iron gate that stays open during the day. Inside, it’s mostly open space with high ceilings to keep it from getting too stuffy during the afternoon heat. We have shelves lined with various materials and tools we use for our daily tasks. It’s a practical setup, nothing too fancy to look at or show off. There’s a small office tucked into the corner where the phone rings occasionally and someone handles the bills. Most of our time is spent on the floor, actually doing the work. The noise from the other units in Sitapura carries over, so it’s never truly silent here. We usually eat our lunch together in the small shaded area out back near the water tank. It’s not the most glamorous place to work, but it suits us just fine. We’ve been at this J-429 address for quite some time, and we know the other business owners on this block pretty well. We don’t really bother with big presentations or polished sales pitches. We just focus on getting through the workload and keeping the machines running smoothly until it's finally time to go home.
