Stani Memorial College Of Engg & Tech

Our campus is located in Rampura, which is part of the Phagi area outside of Jaipur. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, away from the noise of the city. The surroundings are quite rural, so you see a lot of open fields and some local farms around the college. The buildings are fairly spread out, which means a lot of walking in the sun. We have the usual set of classrooms and some workshop areas for the engineering students. It’s usually quiet here compared to the city colleges, except when the students are changing classes. The lab equipment is a bit older, but we make sure it stays running for the practical lessons. We have a canteen that serves basic food, and that's usually where everyone gathers during the lunch break. Because we are near the Jaipur GPO region but still far out, the commute can be tough for those who don't stay in the hostel. Most of the staff comes from the nearby villages or travels in from the city. The power can be a bit unreliable sometimes, so we’ve learned to work around it. It’s a very plain, straightforward place to work or study. We don't have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the name on the gate and the classrooms where the work happens. In the evenings, you can see the sunset over the fields, which is probably the nicest thing about being this far out in the country.
