This college is located on Benad Road in the Murlipura area. It’s easy to find because we are right near Dadi Ka Phatak, which is the railway crossing that everyone knows. The traffic there can be a nightmare in the mornings, so most of us try to get here early. The campus has a lot of brickwork and several different blocks for different departments. It’s usually very dusty because of the construction nearby and the dry Jaipur air. Inside, the classrooms have rows of desks and whiteboards that are stained with old marker ink. We have a small library where the shelves are packed with old engineering textbooks. The staff room is usually a mess of papers and tea cups. We spend our days going from one lecture to the next, and the students are usually seen carrying large drawing boards or laptops. Jhotwara is a busy part of town, so there are always shops and stalls right outside the main gate where students go to grab a snack. We don't have a lot of greenery, just some small plants in pots near the entrance. It’s a practical place, not built for looks, but for doing work. The fans in the ceiling never seem to stop spinning during the summer months. It’s a loud, busy environment but we are used to it. Sometimes the bell for the next period is late because someone forgot to ring it, which causes a bit of confusion in the halls.
