Shyam Palace

We are tucked away in Bani Park on Kanti Chandra Road. This part of Jaipur is a bit quieter than the walled city, which is nice. Our building has been here for a good while. We mostly handle guests who are looking for a place to stay or maybe a small function. It is not a huge palace like the ones you see in the movies, but it is our place. We have a few rooms and some space for gatherings. The neighborhood is mostly residential, so there isn't too much noise at night. People find us helpful because we know the local area well. If someone needs a taxi or directions to the fort, we just tell them. The rooms are basic and we try to keep everything working right. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or a light bulb goes out, but we fix it as soon as we can. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us looking after the day-to-day stuff. The garden area is small but it is a good spot to sit when the weather is cool. We see a mix of tourists and people here for weddings. It’s a practical choice for people who don’t want to spend too much but want to be near the center of town. We just keep things moving and try to be helpful to whoever walks through the gate. We stay busy enough without making much noise about it.
