Shri Hanuman Vatika Marriage Garden

Vaishali Nagar is a busy part of Jaipur. Our marriage garden is on Nursery Circle Road, right across from Suman Sansthan. It’s a big open space with a lot of plants and trees. We call it Shri Hanuman Vatika. My family and I look after the grass and make sure the flowers are growing okay. It’s a lot of work because the weather in Jaipur can be very dry. When there is a wedding, the whole place changes. We put up lights and tents, and it gets very loud and colorful. But during the week, it is usually quiet. We spend that time cleaning up after the last party and getting ready for the next one. The neighbors sometimes complain about the noise from the music, but that’s just how weddings are here. We aren’t some big corporate event company. We just have this land and we let people use it for their big days. We’ve seen many families grow up and come back for different functions over the years. The road outside has gotten much busier lately with more shops opening up. We have to keep the gates closed so people don’t just wander in. It’s a simple life, mostly spent outdoors dealing with the dirt and the plants. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just a small room where we talk to people about their dates and what they need for their ceremonies.
