Shree Vikram Tina Veg Restaurant

Main Kanta Chouraha Jhotwara is a landmark that everyone in Jaipur knows. Our shop, number 82, is right there on Kalwad Road. It is a very dusty and loud area because of all the traffic going by, but that is what makes it lively. We open up early to beat the Jaipur heat. The restaurant is strictly vegetarian, and we keep things very basic. There are no air conditioners here, just big fans that hum all day. We spend most of our time in the back prep area, chopping vegetables and getting things sorted. The furniture is made of wood and has been around for quite a few years. People who live in Jhotwara usually stop by while they are out doing their shopping at the market. We don't have a big menu with fancy names, just the usual things people like to eat every day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to manage, but the customers are used to it. The staff is just a small group of guys who have worked together for a long time. We don't do any big advertisements or anything like that. People find us because we are right at the crossroads. It is a hard job with long hours standing on our feet, but we like being part of the neighborhood here on Kalwad Road.
