Sharma pawitra bhojnalaya

This is our little spot, Sharma pawitra bhojnalaya, right over at Shop number 5 in Sodala. We are very close to the Sodala tiraha and that old Shiva mandir, so it’s easy for folks to find us when they're passing through. Jaipur is a busy city and this part of Sodala stays crowded. We just focus on serving simple meals to the locals and people working around here. There isn't any fancy decor or big menus. We just make the usual stuff like dal, sabzi, and rotis. I started this place because I know how hard it is to find a decent meal when you're away from home. My staff and I are usually here from early morning till late evening. It gets hot near the tandoor but that’s just how it is. We try to keep the place tidy but it's a small shop, so things can get a bit cramped during the rush hour. Sometimes the regulars just sit and talk for a bit after eating. We don’t mind. It’s just a neighborhood eatery. We don't really use social media or anything to tell people about us. They just see the sign near the temple and come in. We’ve been at this same spot for a good while now. It’s honest work and we like seeing the same faces every day.
