Saheli Restaurant

Saheli Restaurant is located on Ajmer Road in the Hira Pura area of Jaipur. We are inside Mohit Cottage, which is right by the Ajmer Bypass 200 Feet Crossing. It is a very busy spot because of all the trucks and cars passing through on the highway. We’ve been here for a while now, and the noise from the road never really stops. It’s a simple place, and we don’t have any big decorations or anything fancy to look at. My family helps out with the cooking and serving most of the time. We open up the shutters early in the morning and stay until late at night. The weather here in Jaipur can get incredibly hot, so we just try to keep the fans running for everyone. Since we are near the crossing, we get a lot of people who are traveling long distances. They just want a place to sit for a bit and eat something before they continue their journey. We don't do any advertising or anything like that. If people see us, they come in. It’s a lot of manual work every day, from cleaning the floors to prepping the ingredients for the next meal. We don't have any big plans for the future; we just want to keep the place running as it is. It’s a decent life, even if it gets a bit tiring sometimes with the constant traffic and heat.
