Our office is located at Hotel Swagatam on Station Road here in Jaipur. The pin code is 302006. Being on Station Road means it’s always busy with travelers coming in from the railway station. It’s a noisy part of town, with rickshaws and buses constantly passing by. We are Rajasthan Tourism Development Corporation Ltd., but we just go by the name on the door. This office has been here inside the hotel for quite a long time. It’s not a fancy corporate headquarters with glass walls and carpets. It’s a functional space where we handle all the administrative stuff and help people with their questions. The building is older and has its quirks. We spend a lot of time on the phone or dealing with paperwork. It’s not very exciting work, but it’s necessary for things to run. We don't have a big mission statement or anything like that. We just show up, do the work, and go home. Sometimes the computers are slow or the lobby gets overcrowded with tourists, but we just manage it. It’s a very practical environment. Most people find us because they are already staying at the hotel or they are walking up from the station. We don't do much in the way of promotion. We’ve just been a fixture on Station Road for years and we keep at it.
