Raj Sounds

We set up Raj Sounds here in Sodala quite a few years back. If you know where the Sodala Thana is on Hawa Sarak, we are just right there. It’s a busy spot but we like it. Most days we are just checking wires or making sure the speakers are working right before someone picks them up. It isn’t a fancy office with glass doors or anything. Just a place where we keep the gear. Sometimes people come in asking for a small set for a house party, other times it’s a big event like a wedding or a local function. We just give them what works for their budget. The heat can be a bit much in the summers, so we usually have the fan going full blast while we work. It’s mostly just us doing the daily grind. We don’t really do big ads or anything. People mostly find us because they live nearby or their friend told them we have what they need for a decent price. It’s pretty straightforward. We try to keep things organized but with all the cables and amplifiers, it gets a bit messy sometimes. That is just how it goes when you’re dealing with electronics and sound boxes every day. We’ve seen the area change a lot over time. More traffic now on the main road, but the shop stays the same. If you are walking past the police station, you’ll probably hear us testing something. That's just us making sure the bass and treble are okay for the next job.
