About New Shri Ganesh Pavitra Bhojanalaya – Tourism in Jaipur
Our place, New Shri Ganesh Pavitra Bhojanalaya, sits right opposite the Chandpole Metro Station in Jaipur. Being in the Sindhi Camp area near Sanjay Circle means it is always noisy and crowded outside. There are buses, rickshaws, and people rushing to catch their trains all the time. We opened up at 1200, and since then, it’s been a non-stop cycle of cooking and cleaning. The kitchen is small but we make it work. We serve simple meals, the kind you’d eat at home if you had the time to cook them. A lot of travelers come in with their bags, looking for a quick bite before they head to the bus stand. It gets very hot in the summers, so we keep the windows open, even if the city noise comes in. We don't use any fancy ingredients or try to make the food look like art. It’s just dal, sabzi, and rotis. My cousins help me out with the serving, and we usually close up once the dinner rush dies down late at night. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to get around to it. It is an honest living in a very busy part of Jaipur. We aren't trying to be anything special, just a spot for a decent meal.
