We've been running New Shree Punjab Dhaba here at Shop Number 2 in Chitrakoot Scheme for a while now. If you know Jaipur, you know Tagore Nagar gets pretty busy during the day. We just open up early, get the stoves going, and start making the usual rotis and dal. It isn’t a fancy place with big lights or anything like that. We have some plastic chairs and wooden tables where people sit down and eat their lunch. Most folks who come by are working nearby or live in the apartments around here. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the bikes zooming past, but that is just how it is in this part of town. We don't spend much time on decorations. The walls are plain and we mostly focus on keeping the kitchen moving. My brother and I handle the orders, and sometimes it gets a bit chaotic when everyone shows up at once during the afternoon break. We try to keep the place clean, but with the dust from the road, it is a constant job. You will find us here every day, just doing what we do. There is no big story behind it, just a family-run dhaba trying to get through the day. If you are walking around the Chitrakoot area, you can easily spot our sign near the corner. It's just simple food for people who need a break.
