New Kabana Restaurant

We are over at Shop Number 1 near Nursery Circle in Vaishali Nagar. This part of Jaipur has grown a lot lately, and we’ve seen more shops opening up around us. Our restaurant is a straightforward place where people come to eat without any fuss. The front door is usually open to let some air in, though it gets dusty from the road sometimes. We have a few staff members who have been with us since we opened. They know how I like things done, even if we argue about the salt once in a while. The tables are sturdy wood and we try to keep them wiped down between every guest. It's not a quiet place, especially when the evening rush starts and the families arrive. We don't go in for fancy decorations; we just have some basic lights and a few pictures on the wall. The kitchen is where most of the action happens. You can hear the pans sizzling from the seating area. We buy our supplies from the local vendors nearby because it's easier and we've known them for years. Some days are slower than others, which gives us a chance to clean the fans and deep-clean the floors. We're just a local spot for the neighborhood folks to grab a meal when they don't feel like cooking at home. It’s a lot of work but it’s our life.
