Milan Guest House

We’ve been here at A 3 Bhagwan Das Road for a while now. Most people know us because we are right near Janta Store and not far from Narayan Circle. It’s a busy spot, honestly. The guest house isn't anything fancy, just a place to sleep and keep your bags. I spend a lot of time sitting near the front, watching the traffic go by. Sometimes the fans make a little noise, but we try to fix things when people tell us. It’s mostly folks coming for work or students visiting the market nearby. We keep the keys behind the desk and try to make sure the water is running okay in the mornings. You can hear the city outside pretty clearly. It gets loud around tea time when everyone is out at the stores. My nephew helps me with the rooms and the cleaning. We don't have a big staff or anything like that. Just us. Usually, travelers ask for directions to the main sights, and I tell them which bus to take from the circle. It’s just a regular life here. Sometimes the lights flicker when it rains hard, but that's just how the building is. We have a few chairs out front where you can sit. It’s not a hotel with a big lobby. It is just Milan Guest House, a simple building near the store. We stay open late because people arrive at odd hours and need a spot to stay.
