Marcopolo Jewellers

We are located at 7-8 Amer Road, right across from the Brahampuri Police Station. It is a very easy spot to find if you are in that part of the city. Marcopolo Jewellers has been here for a long time. The shop is not one of those modern, glass-filled showrooms you see in malls. It is a traditional place with old wooden counters and stools for customers to sit on. The street outside is always noisy with tourists going towards the fort and local traffic. We spend our days sitting behind the counters, waiting for people to drop by. Sometimes it is very busy and other times we just sit and talk amongst ourselves. We handle all sorts of jewelry, but we do not make a big deal about it. We do not have any fancy uniforms. We just wear our regular clothes and keep things simple. The shop has a bit of an old smell to it, like old wood and polish. We keep our records in big handwritten books because that is how we have always done it. Across the road, you can see the police station which is a good landmark for anyone who gets lost. We do not do any big advertising. People just know we are here on Amer Road. It is a family business and we take things one day at a time. It is a small, honest shop with no big corporate airs.
