Laxmi Sweet Caterers

Our shop is at Shop No-2 and 3 on the Main Ajmer Road in Sodala. We are very close to the Ram Nagar Metro Station, so it’s easy to find us if you’re taking the train. We do sweets and catering for different events around Jaipur. It started out as just a small shop selling a few types of sweets, and it grew from there. We aren't a big corporate catering company with fancy brochures. Usually, people just come into the shop, taste a few things, and tell us what they need for their function. We handle the cooking and the transport ourselves. The shop is usually busy with people stopping in for a quick box of sweets on their way home. It’s a bit cluttered sometimes because we have containers and supplies moving in and out for catering jobs. The staff is just a group of local guys who know how to make traditional sweets the old way. We don’t use any modern machines for everything; a lot of it is still done by hand in the back. It’s hard work and the kitchen gets hot, but that’s the job. We’ve been in Sodala for a long time and the neighborhood knows us well. We just keep making our sweets and helping out with local parties. It's just how we live.
