Kohinoor Exports

Kohinoor Exports is located at Arora 94/40 in Mansarovar. It’s a pretty standard setup for an export business. We’ve got a front area where we handle the admin stuff and a back area for checking the goods. Mansarovar is a big area, but our street is usually manageable. We’ve been working from here for quite a while. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad. We spend a lot of time on the phone with customs agents and transport companies. It’s a lot of coordination. Things don't always go according to plan, but we’ve learned to be flexible. If a truck is late, we just find something else to work on until it shows up. We don’t wear suits or anything like that. It’s a casual place. We have a small kitchen where we make lunch. It helps save money and it’s nice to eat together. Our desks are usually covered in invoices and sample swatches. We try to keep the place tidy, but when we’re busy, that’s the first thing to go. We’ve built up some good relationships with local manufacturers over the years. They know how we work, and we know them. It’s a simple business model. We buy things, we check them, and we send them off. We don't overthink it. It’s just how we make our living. We just keep our focus on the shipments and the deadlines.
