Kirti Exports

We have our little setup over at D-19, Shanti Path in Tilak Nagar. It is an export house, but don't let the name make you think of big glass buildings. It is mostly us in a functional space with piles of boxes and a lot of packing tape. We handle various goods that need to go overseas, so our days are filled with checking lists and making sure the labels are stuck on straight. Shanti Path is usually a quiet street, but we keep things moving inside. It is a family-style environment where everyone knows what needs doing. We spend a lot of time on the phone with shipping agents and looking at customs forms. Sometimes the internet acts up and we just have to wait, which gives us time for another cup of tea. We don't have a fancy reception desk or anyone in a suit. Most days, we are just in our regular clothes, moving crates and verifying weights before the truck arrives. It gets a bit crowded when a large shipment comes in, but we manage. We have been in Tilak Nagar for a long time and seen the neighborhood change quite a bit. It is a practical life, mostly focusing on the details and hoping the ships arrive on time. We just try to do the job right and keep the paperwork in order for the next day.
