Kamlesh Pavitra Bhojanalya

This is Kamlesh Pavitra Bhojanalya. We are at Shop 7-8 in C Scheme, Jaipur. It’s right opposite the Roadways Depot. Because of the bus stand, we get a lot of hungry travelers looking for a quick bite. We serve simple food like you get at home. Mostly dal, roti, and some seasonal sabzi. It’s meant to be clean and filling. I wouldn't call it a fancy restaurant by any means. It's more of a basic dhaba style place. We use very basic ingredients from the market. My cooks have been with me for several years. We have to open early because people traveling by the early buses need breakfast. The shop numbers are 7 and 8. It's a very busy area with lots of traffic and dust from the bus depot across the road. But inside the shop, we try to keep it decent for our customers. Jaipur 302021 is where we are located. You can see our small sign from the main road if you look carefully. We don't have air conditioning or anything like that. Just some old fans on the ceiling. Some people come every single day for their lunch. They like that the taste of the dal doesn't change much. We don't use too much oil or heavy spice. Just regular home-style cooking. It's a very small team here. We just want to finish the day's work and go home to our families. If the food is finished early, we just close the kitchen. No waste.
