Indian Interiors

You can find us at Flat G2 in the Gokul Krishna Apartment 1, which is on Gandhi Path in Vaishali Nagar. It is a bit unusual because we are working out of a residential apartment rather than a big storefront on the main road. This makes it feel a lot more like a home, which I guess is fitting for a business called Indian Interiors. We have samples of wood, fabric swatches, and flooring tiles taking up most of the space in the living room area. It is a bit of a squeeze when we have more than a couple of people in here at once. Gandhi Path has become much busier over the last few years, so there is always the sound of horns and traffic outside our window. We don't have a fancy display window to show off our work, we just have our portfolios and the materials we use. Most of our days are spent talking to contractors or drawing up plans on the big table we squeezed into the dining area. The kitchen is mostly used for making coffee and tea for anyone who drops by to talk about their house. It is a very informal way of doing things but it seems to work out okay for us. We like being in Vaishali Nagar because it is a lively neighborhood with everything we need close by. There is usually a bit of dust on the samples but that is part of the work.
