H K Enterprises

H K Enterprises is situated on Road No 17 in the VKIA area. Being in an industrial zone means our surroundings are mostly factories, large trucks, and a lot of grey buildings. Our place is much like the others around here—built for utility rather than looks. We have a lot of metal and heavy items around, and the floor is usually a bit greasy or dusty depending on what we moved that day. The noise from the neighboring units is constant, with machines humming or hammers hitting metal, but you get used to it after a week. We don't have a receptionist; if you walk in, you’ll probably find one of us in the back or on the phone trying to track down a shipment. We use a lot of handwritten notes and old folders to keep track of things because that’s how we’ve always done it. The lunch break is the only quiet time we get, and even then, someone is usually knocking on the door or a truck is pulling up outside. It’s hard work and the hours can be long when we have a big order to get out, but it’s what we know. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, we just want to get through the day’s list without too many problems.
