Anjani Industries

Over at New Anaj Mandi in Chandpole Bazar, you can find our unit at D-73. Being in the mandi means it’s always busy with trucks, carts, and guys carrying heavy sacks around. Anjani Industries handles some basic processing and packing of grain. It’s noisy and there is always dust in the air, but you get used to it after working here for a while. Our space has high ceilings and some old machines that still run pretty well despite their age. Don't expect a polished corporate office here. There’s just a small corner with a wooden desk where we talk to traders and sort out the bills. My father started this business a long time ago and we just keep the daily routine going. The cramped streets and strong smells are just part of life in this old city market. We don't have a big team of executives or any marketing plans. It’s mostly just us and a few workers who help with the heavy lifting and the machines. Lunch is usually eaten together in the back room while we talk about the latest market prices. This is a very traditional way of doing things and we like being part of the Chandpole community. We just focus on keeping the machines running and getting the grain out to the customers on time. It's an honest living.
