Ashtavinayak Industries

Out here at Sansar Chandra Road Loha Mandi 101-102, things are pretty industrial. Ashtavinayak Industries is right in the heart of the metal market, so there’s always the sound of iron clanging and trucks reversing. It’s a dusty place, and by midday, everything is covered in a thin layer of grime. We don’t mind it much because that’s just the nature of the business. We deal with heavy materials and machinery, so it’s not the kind of place you’d wear your nice clothes to. My staff and I spend a lot of time checking measurements and making sure the orders are packed right for transport. The heat in the warehouse can get pretty intense during May and June, but we just keep the fans running and drink a lot of water. We don't have any polished showrooms. If you come to see us, you’ll likely see us in our work gear, maybe covered in a bit of grease. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until evening. We’ve had the same guys working here for years, so we’ve got a good rhythm going. We don’t use any big words to describe what we do. We just take the raw materials and get them ready for whatever the customers need them for. It’s a simple, tough business and we’re proud to be part of the Loha Mandi community for a long time.
