Chawlas Restaurant

Chawlas Restaurant is located in Sodala, Jaipur, right on New Sanganer Road. We occupy Shop No 21 and 22. This area is always full of vehicles and people heading toward the main city. Our shop is pretty straightforward. We have a few tables set up and a kitchen that stays busy from morning until late at night. There is nothing corporate about us. We are just a local team trying to keep up with the orders as they come in. Jaipur can get very dusty and loud, and that noise definitely makes its way inside. We don't mind it much because we are used to the rhythm of Sodala. The cooks have their own way of doing things, and we don't interfere too much as long as the food is going out on time. We spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure the floor is swept clean. It’s hard work and your feet usually hurt by the end of the shift. We don't have any awards on the wall or anything like that. We just serve the people who live and work around New Sanganer Road. Some customers have been coming to us since we first opened these doors years ago. It is just a regular life for us, cooking and serving, then doing it all again the next day. We focus on the work and let the food speak for itself as people pass through our doors.
