Casa De Plata

Casa De Plata is situated in the basement of Alankar Tower at B-10-11. We are on Kabir Marg in the Banipark area. Being in the basement means we don't get much natural light, but it’s actually quite nice because it stays cool when the sun is beating down on Jaipur. We work with silver and jewelry, and having a bit of a secluded spot helps us focus on the details. The space is a bit cramped because we have a lot of tools and materials packed into the rooms. We aren't some big brand with a shop in a mall. It’s just a small operation where we handle everything from design to final packing. Banipark is a decent neighborhood, but the traffic around Alankar Tower can be a bit of a mess during the peak hours. We’ve had to deal with leaks and some dim lighting over the years, but we just fix what we can and keep going. Most of our visitors are people who have heard about us from friends or regular clients. We don't really do any big advertising campaigns. We’re just regular folks who enjoy the craft of making things out of silver. Every day is a bit different, depending on what orders we have. We try to keep our workspace organized, though it usually ends up messy by the end of the day. It’s just the nature of the work we do.
