Artworks is located at Guru Krupa, 60-B in the Riico Industrial Area, which is near the T V S Motors in Jhotwara. Being in an industrial area means things are a bit rugged around here. There are a lot of trucks moving in and out, and the air is usually full of the sounds of industry. Our workshop at Guru Krupa is where we spend our days. We call it Artworks because that’s what we do, though it’s more about the manual effort than anything else. We have various tools and materials spread across the benches. It’s not a gallery; it’s a place where things get made. Sometimes it gets pretty hot in the afternoons, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We chose this spot because it’s close to other suppliers and businesses in Jhotwara. We don’t have a lot of time for sitting around. Usually, we’re busy fixing something or finishing a piece for a client. We’re just a small group of workers who know our craft. There’s no corporate ladder here, just a bunch of people trying to do a good job. We keep our notes on scrap paper and our coffee is usually cold by the time we drink it. It’s an honest way to spend the day, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We just keep our heads down and work.
