Apex Institute Of Engg & Tech is over at Isi-5 in the Riico Industrial Area. Sitapur can be a bit of a trek depending on where you're coming from, but once you're here, it’s mostly just industrial sheds and other technical spots. The building itself is pretty functional, nothing too flashy on the outside. We spend most of our days inside the labs or walking between the different blocks. It gets quite dusty because of all the construction nearby, so we’re always wiping down the desks. The morning starts with the watchman opening the big gates and the students trickling in on their bikes. There’s a tea stall just down the road where most of us go during the break to get away from the screens for a bit. The halls can be noisy when classes change, but otherwise, it's a focused kind of place. We’ve got a lot of equipment that needs constant looking after, so there’s usually someone around with a toolkit. In the rainy season, the roads around the Riico area get a bit messy, so we all end up with mud on our shoes. It’s just how it is here. We don't have fancy lounges or anything, just classrooms and practical spaces where the work gets done. Most of the staff has been around for years, so we all know each other’s names and how we take our chai. It’s a plain, hardworking spot. There are always stacks of papers on the desks and the sound of machines in the distance.
