The Shaukeens

The Shaukeens is on the first floor of Platinum Plaza, right in the Napier Town area of Jabalpur. We are very close to Bhawar Tal Garden, and being opposite Sudharshan Motors makes us easy to find. We opened this place because we really enjoy good food and wanted to share that with our neighbors. We’re a local business, not some big chain from out of town. The space is comfortable and simple. We’ve got some nice windows that look out over the street, which is great for people-watching while you eat. We see a lot of families coming in, especially on the weekends after they’ve spent some time at the park. The kitchen is run by people who really know their way around a stove, even if they didn't go to some fancy culinary school. We focus on making things taste right. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the place is full of kids, but we don't mind the energy. We handle everything from the cleaning to the cooking ourselves. It’s a lot of work, but we like being our own bosses and serving the community here in Jabalpur. We don't have any corporate slogans or big promises. We just open up every morning, prep the ingredients, and hope people enjoy what we’ve made. It’s a straightforward way to run a restaurant, and it seems to work for us and the people who visit.
