19th Century Bar

We are situated inside the Jackson Hotel, which is in the South Civil Line area of Jabalpur. It’s an older part of town with a lot of history. The bar itself has a particular feel to it, maybe a bit different from the newer places popping up. We spend our time stocking the shelves and making sure the seating is comfortable for whoever comes in. South Civil Line is a busy area, but once you step inside the hotel, things feel a bit more settled. We get a mix of travelers staying at the hotel and locals who have been coming here for years. It’s the kind of place where people come to have a quiet drink and a chat. The staff has been around for a while, so we know how to handle the evening rush without getting too stressed. We don’t do a lot of fancy promotions. People know where we are and what to expect. Most of the work is behind the counter, pouring drinks and keeping things tidy. It can get a bit dim inside, which is just how the space is designed. We like the pace of working here. It’s honest work in a part of Jabalpur that has stayed consistent over the decades. We just keep the bottles ready and the glasses clean, waiting for the next person to walk through the door. It’s just how we do things here every night.
