Galaxy Permit Room

We are located inside the Rishi Regency Hotel in Jabalpur. It’s the Galaxy Permit Room and you can find us right across from the State Bank of India near the Civil Lines area. It is a pretty straightforward place where people come to sit down after they finish their work for the day. We have tables and chairs that have been here for quite some time now. The lighting is a bit low which some people like and others complain about. We serve drinks and have a small list of snacks that we can make in the kitchen. It’s not a very large space so it can feel a bit cramped when it gets busy on the weekends. We have a few regulars who always sit in the same corner every time they come in. The staff here has been working together for a while so we know how things go. We spend our mornings cleaning up and getting the bottles sorted before the doors open. It gets a bit loud when there is a cricket match on the television. The hotel guests come in sometimes but mostly it is just folks from around Jabalpur. We don't have any fancy decorations on the walls or anything like that. It’s just a place to have a drink and talk. The 482001 area is usually busy with traffic so it’s a good spot to wait for the rush to end.
