City Inn Restaurant

You can find us at Nagraj Chowk in Jabalpur, right across from the City Hospital. We are the restaurant part of the City Inn Hotel. It’s a busy spot because of the hospital right there, so we see people coming in at all hours. Some are staying at the hotel, and others are just visiting folks nearby and need a bite to eat. Being at Nagraj Chowk makes it easy for people to tell their rickshaw drivers where to go. We just serve the usual food you’d find in a city hotel restaurant. It isn’t a very big place, but there are enough tables for the lunch rush. We try to keep the chairs straight and the tables wiped down between customers. The kitchen stays pretty busy during the day. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit loud, especially with the ambulances and horns at the chowk. We have been here for some time now, and we know many of the regulars who work in the area. It’s just a straightforward place to get a meal without any fuss. The hotel is upstairs, so we handle the breakfast for them too. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the hospital crowd and the hotel guests, but we manage it day by day. We don’t use any special tricks, just cooking what’s on the menu and serving it. It is what it is, and we stay pretty busy most days.
