Gulistha Reastaurant

The Gulistha Restaurant is located inside the Hotel Gulzar Tower on Nagpur Road. We are in the Mahananda area of Jabalpur. It’s a tall building so you can’t really miss it if you are driving by. The restaurant is a place where locals come for big family dinners or when they have someone visiting from out of town. We have a lot of tables and the chairs are the heavy kind. The lighting is a bit bright, but it works for a family place. Our servers have worked here for years and they know the menu by heart. Sometimes the service is a bit slow when we have a wedding party staying in the hotel, but we do our best to keep up. The windows look out over the road and you can see the traffic going towards Nagpur. It isn't the quietest place, but it feels lively. We serve a lot of North Indian food because that’s what people around here like to eat. The kitchen can get pretty hot in the afternoons. We don't do anything experimental with the food. It’s just the same recipes we’ve been using for a long time. People seem to like the consistency of it. We just keep the doors open and the food coming out as fast as we can. It is just an ordinary place to get a good meal in Jabalpur.
