Paprika Restaurant

Down here on M R 4 Road in Vijay Nagar Colony, things are a bit more relaxed than the city center, but it still gets lively. We are just a small restaurant in Jabalpur trying to make it through the week. The building we are in is simple and we try to keep it as clean as we can. Every morning we go out to get fresh things for the day. Sometimes the market doesn't have what we want, so we have to change things up on the fly. That is just how running a small place goes. We have a few tables and some chairs that don't all match perfectly, but they work well enough. The neighborhood kids often play outside on the street and we can hear them while we are working. We don't have a big boss in an office somewhere telling us what to do. It is just the few of us in the kitchen and the one person out front. We make mistakes sometimes, like forgetting to refill the salt shakers, but we try to fix it quickly. It's a humble sort of existence here in Vijay Nagar. We aren't looking to become a big chain or anything. We just like having our own little spot where we can cook and talk to the people who live nearby. The kitchen light has a bit of a buzz to it, but you get used to it after a while. We just keep moving and doing the work.
