Navnita Restaurant

We sit right on 4th Bridge Road in Napier Town. If you know where Anand Cinema is, we are just across the street from it. We’ve been at this address, 1330, for quite some years. The building is older, but it holds up. People often come in after watching a movie across the road. We have tables for families and some smaller ones for people eating alone. The menu hasn't changed much since we started. We do the standard dishes that people in Jabalpur like. Sometimes the lights flicker when the power is acting up, but we have a small generator for that. It’s a family-run place. My sister handles the billing and I stay in the kitchen mostly. We get a lot of noise from the traffic on the bridge, but you get used to it after a week or two. The windows could use a new coat of paint, I suppose, but we haven't gotten around to it. We try to keep the floors swept, though it’s hard when it’s raining outside and everyone brings in mud. It’s a decent place to sit and have a meal without any fuss. We know the cinema staff pretty well by now. It’s just a normal restaurant doing its thing in the middle of town. We keep the doors open until the last show ends.
