Maa Godavari Paratha House

We’ve been here at Plot No 2368 on Madan Mahal Station Road for quite a long time now. Wright Town is a busy place, and being near the station means there is constant movement around us. In Jabalpur, you see all kinds of people passing by every hour. Our main thing at Maa Godavari Paratha House is making parathas, and that takes up most of our energy every day. The kitchen gets pretty hot during the afternoon, which is just a normal part of the job. Outside, the road is often loud with traffic and horns, but we just stay focused on the stove and the dough. If you happen to be walking down from the station, you will spot us easily in Wright Town. We never bothered with fancy signs or anything flashy like that. It is just a basic place where we roll out dough and flip parathas from the morning until we close at night. Sometimes the flour gets everywhere and the tawa never really cools down. Over the years, Wright Town has seen plenty of changes, but our spot remains the same. This isn't a big corporate building, just a regular place for regular folks to stop in. Most days we are too busy with the rolling pins to think about much else. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. The 482002 area is where we feel at home. Seeing the same faces day after day is nice. We just do our work and keep things moving.
