Lemon Grass Restaurant

Lemon Grass Restaurant is inside the Imperial Hotel over in Napier Town. We are quite close to the Shastri Bridge, which is a big landmark around here in Jabalpur. Being inside a hotel means we get a lot of different people coming through the doors. Some are staying upstairs, and others just walk in from the street because they are in the neighborhood. The restaurant has been part of the hotel for a while now. We keep a regular schedule, opening up for the breakfast crowd and staying busy through dinner. The kitchen is always a bit chaotic, but that’s normal for any place that serves food. We have standard tables and chairs, nothing too flashy, but they get the job done. The staff is mostly local people who know how to navigate Napier Town traffic to get to work on time. We don’t spend a lot of time on fancy decorations; we just make sure the plates are clean and the food goes out hot. Sometimes the hotel gets a bit noisy with events or weddings, and we have to work around that. It’s a steady kind of job. We see the same faces every now and then, which is nice. We just try to provide a decent place for a meal in a part of town that’s always moving. It’s practical and it works for us and the customers. We keep things moving every single day.
