Shri Kripa Restaurant

This place is located at House No 4 on the Lig Main Road in Patni Pura. We are right near the old Aastha Cinema, which most people in Indore know. It’s not a very large restaurant, just a small space where we set up a few tables. I’ve lived in this area for a long time and decided to open this spot because I wanted something to do. We serve the usual stuff you find in this neighborhood. The kitchen is right at the back and you can usually hear the pans clanking from the street. We open up in the morning and stay until the dinner rush is over. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to use the lanterns, but we keep cooking. My wife helps with the accounts and I handle the groceries. We buy everything fresh from the mandi nearby every couple of days. The walls could use a new coat of paint maybe, but the food is what matters to the people who come here. We get students from the nearby hostels and workers from the market. It’s a noisy street outside with all the bikes, but it’s home to us. We don't do anything special for marketing, just have a small board outside. We just want to make sure the food tastes like it was made at home. That's really all there is to it.
