Annapurna Mess

Annapurna Mess is located at 34 Bhagyashree Colony Extension, right in the Vijay Nagar area of Indore. We are tucked behind the Mangalcity Shopping Mall. Being in the 452010 area means we are surrounded by a lot of students and office workers who are living away from home. Our mess is a simple place where people come for their daily meals. It’s not a restaurant where you go for a fancy date. It’s the kind of place where you have a monthly subscription or just drop in when you’re tired of cooking for yourself. We have a very basic setup in Bhagyashree Colony. There are plenty of tables and a kitchen that stays busy from dawn. We focus on simple, everyday food like dal, roti, and sabzi. We don't use any heavy spices or try to make things look like they belong in a magazine. We just want the food to taste right. Behind the mall, it stays a bit quieter than the main road, which is nice. Most of the people who eat here know each other by name. We get people who have been coming here for months and months. We don't do any big advertising. People just find us by walking through the colony or hearing about us from a friend. We keep our overheads low so we can keep the meal prices honest. It’s just a regular mess doing regular work for the neighborhood.
