If you head over to 108, Vijay Nagar in Indore, you’ll find us at Barbeque Times. Our spot is tucked behind the C21 Mall, right beside the M A Showroom. It’s a pretty active part of the 452010 zip code, especially on the weekends when everyone is out at the mall. We usually get to the shop while the streets are still a little quiet. There’s always a list of chores to get through, like checking the coal supply and making sure the kitchen is ready. Being right next to a big showroom means we see a lot of people walking past our doors. The area has changed a lot over the years, getting more crowded and louder, but we just stick to our routine. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with the heat from the fires. We don’t really do anything complicated. We just show up, light the grills, and get to work. The location behind the mall is nice because it’s a bit away from the main road noise but still close enough that people can find us easily. We spend most of our day in the back or out front making sure things are set up right. It’s a simple life, really. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not, just a local place in Vijay Nagar where the grills are always hot and the staff is just trying to keep up with the day.
