Baywatch Discotheque

Our place, Baywatch Discotheque, is located inside the Baywatch Hotel at 2-3 Ranibagh Colony. If you’re heading down Khandwa Naka, we’re right opposite the Imperial Academy. Indore has a lot of energy, and we wanted to be a part of that. We’ve been here for a while now, just running the lights and the music every night. It’s a lot of work keeping up with the equipment and making sure the floor is clean for the next group. We aren't some fancy high-end club from a movie. It’s just a spot where people go to dance and hang out for a few hours. We spend our afternoons checking the speakers and making sure the drinks are stocked up. The hotel keeps us busy too, since we’re part of the same building. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but that’s the point of a disco, I guess. We see all kinds of people coming through the doors. Some are staying at the hotel and others come from across town. It’s a straightforward job. We don’t have any big speeches about our vision. We just want the equipment to work and the people to have a place to go on the weekend. The colony is usually quiet during the day, but it picks up at night. We’re right there at 452001, just doing what we do every evening. It’s a lot of late nights and early mornings for us.
