Arabian Zaika

Arabian Zaika is situated over at Naita Mundla, near Lakhani Square on the bypass in Indore. We are right opposite the Swami Narayan Mandir, so it’s pretty easy to give people directions. Being on the bypass means we get a lot of truck drivers and people traveling between cities. The place is built to handle people coming and going. We have a simple setup with tables that are easy to clean. It’s often quite dusty because of the road construction and the heavy traffic outside, but we do our best to keep the dining area tidy. The kitchen is always at it, making sure there’s enough food for the travelers. We don't have any polished menus or fancy decor. It’s just a place to eat when you’re on the move. My uncle started this place, and now a few of us manage it together. We don't do any big advertising campaigns. Most of our customers are just people who saw our sign while driving past. The food is standard stuff that fills you up. Sometimes we run out of certain items late at night if there were a lot of buses passing through. We just take it one day at a time here. It’s a hard life working on the bypass, but we’ve got a good rhythm going now. We just stay open and serve whoever pulls over.
