Hum Tum Restaurant

Our restaurant is at 1849 Sector D in Sudama Nagar. We are tucked behind Lucky Bakery on the Ring Road. Indore is a city that loves its food, and Sudama Nagar is a big residential area where people are always looking for a good meal. Being behind the bakery means we are a little bit off the main strip, which is actually nice because it’s not as loud. The Ring Road is always humming with cars and trucks, but once you turn off toward our place, it calms down a bit. We started this place as a simple spot for people to get something to eat without any fuss. It’s a small building, and we’ve tried to make the best of the space we have. You won’t find any marble floors or crystal lights here. We just have simple wooden tables and a kitchen that stays busy from morning till night. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors from Sector D. We know a lot of them by name and know what they usually like to order. Running a restaurant in Sudama Nagar is a lot of work, mostly involving early morning trips to the market and late nights cleaning up. We don't use any fancy marketing tricks. We just keep the doors open and the stove hot. It’s a straightforward life, and we are happy to be part of the local scene here behind Lucky Bakery. Every day brings something different but the work remains the same.
