Being near the market means there’s always something going on. We are a small food unit, what they call an OPC, so it’s a very personal operation. The address is 61-4-Nb, and if you know the Lamlong area, you know how hectic it can get with the traders and the shoppers. We spend our days processing food items. It’s not a huge automated line. A lot of it involves checking things by hand and making sure the quality is what we’d want for our own families. Sometimes the machines act up or the water supply is a bit low, and we have to figure it out on the fly. We don’t have a marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters for us. We just focus on getting the food packed and ready. People around here know us, and that’s mostly how we get by. The office is really just a corner of the workspace where the paperwork is kept. We try to keep up with the demand from the market nearby, but since we're small, it can be a struggle sometimes. We’re just happy to be part of the local food scene here in Manipur. It's hard work, but it feels good to see our products on the local shelves.
