Out on Chinnakkanal Nh-49 is where we are located. This is the Nadupara area. It is a good distance away from the main town. The road here is long with many turns. We have some rooms and a view of the surrounding hills. Mist often covers the area in the mornings. Travelers driving through the mountains are the people we see most. They stop here when they need a rest. Not much else exists around us except the road and the trees. Compared to the city, it is a very quiet spot. Maintaining the grounds takes a lot of effort because the weather is tough. During the monsoon season, the rain is very heavy. Our reception area is quite basic. The staff lives in the nearby area. Fancy entertainment is not something we provide. Most guests are here to see the scenery and get some sleep. The highway sees some traffic, but nights are mostly silent. We have been here for a long time. The building is a simple structure. Dealing with mountain issues like dampness and insects is just normal for us. That is just part of living in Nadupara. We give people a place to stay when they are traveling on Nh-49. No big malls or theaters are anywhere nearby. It is just us and the hills. Rooms are kept ready for whoever pulls in. That is the extent of our daily life. The fog rolls in often. Internet can be slow.
