You’ll find us on Suryanelli Road in Chinnakanal. It’s right across from the Fort Munnar Resort, which makes us easy to spot if you’re driving up the winding roads. Munnar Crown Resorts is situated in a place where the weather can change in a few minutes. One moment it’s clear, and the next, the clouds are right in the yard. We spend a lot of time maintaining the grounds here because the plants grow so fast in this climate. The resort isn’t a massive complex; it’s more of a local place where we know every corner of the property. We don't use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the rooms are clean and the gardens look decent. The road outside can be quiet at night, which is nice. We have a small staff, and most of us have been here for years. We know the best spots to see the hills and where the tea gardens look the best. It’s a lot of work keeping a place like this running, especially with the dampness of the mountains, but we like the fresh air. We don’t try to act like a big city hotel. We’re just a mountain resort on a curvy road, doing our best to keep things comfortable. It’s a quiet life up here in Chinnakanal, and we like it that way.
